SONA Imaging Solutions, Inc. is owned and operated by Lara Miller, RDMS, RVT, RDCS. Lara received her education in ultrasound from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida. She graduated from FHCHS with an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
After graduation, Lara began working for a local trauma center and gained experience in the field of ultrasound, including vascular imaging, as well as invasive procedures and various ultrasound exams. Lara then successfully completed the ARDMS registry in OB/GYN ultrasound giving her the credential of RDMS.
After gaining the RDMS credential, Lara took a position with a local outpatient diagnostic imaging center as a staff sonographer and gained more experience in general and vascular ultrasound along with breast imaging and additional out-patient invasive procedures. During this time, Lara also successfully completed additional registries under the RDMS credential.
Lara was then presented with the opportunity to receive clinical and didactic training in echocardiography and began employment with a mobile cardiovascular ultrasound agency. After completion of hands-on echocardiography training, Lara successfully completed the ARDMS registries in Vascular Technology and Adult Echocardiography, giving her the leading edge as a registered full-body sonographer and the credentials of RVT and RDCS. Lara's employment with this mobile agency was advanced to the position of Clinical Director and she was given the experience of overseeing the daily clinical operations of this agency.
Lara is also experienced in the ultrasound accreditation process. She has completed ICAEL and ICAVL accreditation applications for many cardiology groups, physician offices, mobile agencies and outpatient centers throughout Florida. She has also had the experience of completing ACR ultrasound accreditation applications, as well.
In Februrary of 2008, Lara began Sonicare Diagnostics, Inc. with the hopes of creating a professional organization committed to excellence in patient care and outstanding customer service. It is her desire to provide a valuable service to the local community which will benefit patients and physicians, as well as to set a new standard of care in the field of mobile ultrasound. Sonicare Diagnostics recently changed to SONA Imaging Solutions, Inc. in order to better serve your ultrasound and imaging needs.
